2006 Activities
"Placed as a follow-up of the three year-program “Network of Teachers for Peacebuilding” with trainees from Bosnia Herzegovina organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency,
PB organized an occasion to strengthen the network of former trainees in Bosnia Herzegovina.
On November 25 and 26, PB convened a meeting at the port city, Neum, in Bosnia Herzegovina, where former trainees reported their recent activities. They also reached consensus on the action plan for the years to come, and group of former trainees will pursue activities in the following fields: (i) develop a national, peace education material; (ii) lobby to incorporate peace education as a part of the formal curriculum; (iii) organize student exchanges (i.e. sports, music, etc); and (iv) organize student exchange with Japanese student.
